Varésol granules from Boiron laboratories is a homeopathic medicine which is traditionally used in the symptomatic treatment of chickenpox - itching and vesicles.

Its active substances are Croton tiglium 9 CH (0.013 ml for a tube of 4 g of granules), Mezereum 15 CH (0.013 ml for a tube of 4 g of granules) and Rhus toxicodendron 15 CH (0.013 ml for a tube of 4 g of granules). Its other components are sucrose and lactose.
Dosage :
Children over 1 year old, after medical advice.
The dosage is 5 granules, 3 to 5 times a day. It is necessary to reduce as soon as the condition improves and to stop them as soon as the symptoms disappear.
For administration to a child under 6 years of age, the granules should be dissolved in a small amount of water. Otherwise, the mode of administration is the sublingual route. So, the granules are to be left to melt under the tongue.
The duration of treatment should not exceed 8 days.
Precautions :
Do not use this product in case of allergy to its active substances or to any of its components.
You should contact a doctor before taking this medicine if he has informed you of an intolerance to certain sugars.

A doctor should be seen right away if the pimples are filling with blood and deepening and the fever is high, the pimples are filling with pus, the child is coughing, changes in behaviour, or has a chronic skin condition.

Its use is not recommended in patients with lactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome. It is also not recommended for patients with fructose intolerance, glucose and galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrase/isomaltose deficiency.

Varesol can be taken by pregnant and breastfeeding women. You should seek advice from your doctor if you not sure.
