The tea tree , or tea tree, is a tree native to Australia discovered by the navigator James Cook. Although its name is confusing, it should not be confused with the tea plant.
Its essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the aerial parts . This process consists of removing the volatile constituents (essential oil) from the leaves with the steam. Then, the steam condenses in the essencier, separating the essential oils from the hydrosol (water).
Our tea tree essential oil, Melaleuca alternifolia , is 100% pure and natural and comes from Organic Farming .

HEBBD stands for Botanically and Biochemically Defined Essential Oil.
At the botanical level , this indicates that are identified:
the producing organ of the plant from which the essential oil originates
the exact Latin botanical name
country of origin
At the biochemical level , the chemotype of the plant is entirely defined thanks to a chromatography (laboratory analysis of the substances present) carried out for each new batch of essential oil.
This label also specifies that the essential oils are 100% pure and natural .
