Constipation and preparation for a rectoscopy
Gifrer adult glycerin suppositories are a medicine intended to relieve certain forms of constipation and also allow the preparation of specific medical examinations such as rectoscopy, that is auscultation of the rectum and anal canal.
 
Dosage:
This medicine is only for adults. Its dosage changes according to its indication:
As part of a treatment for low constipation, when the stools are difficult to evacuate from the rectum, it is advisable to take 1 to 2 suppositories per day for one stool per day.
As for the preparation for a rectoscopy, it will be 1 suppository 5-30 minutes before the time chosen for the exemption.

For a more comfortable introduction, the suppository can be soaked in cold water beforehand.
Precautions for use of adult glycerin suppositories
Gifrer glycerin suppositories are used on a short-term basis for the occasional treatment of constipation. If the symptoms persist, or even worsen, it is imperative to seek medical advice and not to prolong the doses. The causes of constipation can indeed be linked to a change in diet, temporary stress or a more complex and severe pathology, requiring in the latter case, a more thorough diagnosis and appropriate treatments.

In case of pregnancy and lactation, medical advice is advised before any intake.
