Indications: treatment of acute diarrhea in adults and children, treatment of chronic diarrhea in adults.
 
Composition: 1 sachet contains: active substance: 3g diosmectite and auxiliary substances: glucose monohydrate, sodium saccharin, ethanol,  vanilla flavor, orange flavor.
 
Action: anti - diarrheal, coating on the gastrointestinal mucosa, increases the strength of the mucus layer covering the mucosa to irritants, protects the gastrointestinal mucosa.
 
Dosage : Adults: usually three sachets are given daily. Children: dosage of the drug in children should be consulted with a doctor beforehand. Under 1 year of age: 1 sachet per day. From 1 to 2 years old: 1 to 2 sachets per day. Ages over 2 years: 2 to 3 sachets per day. The contents of each sachet should be dissolved in 50 ml of water and administered in small portions throughout the day. Can also be given with semi-liquid foods.
 
Contraindications: Do not use if you are allergic to diosmektl or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. It is not recommended to use any other medicines in combination with Smecta. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine.
