Methylsulfonylmethane is an organic, easily absorbable sulphur compound, which is necessary for living organisms because it is found in almost every cell.
 
It takes part in a number of important processes - the production of enzymes, is a building block of cartilage tissue, and participates in the synthesis of proteins (e.g. collagen and keratin). Sulphur is also an extremely important component of joints.
 
Methylsulfonylmethane can be found in some vegetables, fruits and dairy products, but it is extremely delicate and sensitive to heat treatment, so it is not easy to obtain the right supply in the diet.
